Our Staff is just 2 of us Tom and Kathy + Dakota our Jack Russell looking for Ford Trucks
Dakota will be missed RIP in 03/03/17 since she loved trucks/people/shows/swap meets
Now we have Cooper and here he is @ Carlilse trying his best <in which he did > on selling this 66 F-100 that was 100% rust free as you can see by the pic of the inside of the bed
Below is just a sample of some of the sheet metal that I hand Pick for resale, When I buy a parts truck I go look at it with a fine tooth comb to be sure that its something that we @ Flashback F100's are proud to sell,, also Kathy is in a 61/64 Cab pulling the Glass out so we then can high presure wash it in and out,,, Tom...
Our goal is to give our customers the best, cleanest sheet metal out there. We take pride on selling this metal and thats why I hand pick all of our parts or trucks. After getting our trucks here we check them out, test electrical parts, motors, transmissions etc... Once that is done we take our4000 psi pressure washer to all small or big parts does not make a difference on motor parts , cabs ,beds all get checked for cancer, rust, stress cracks etc...
Here we are cleaning a pair of 65/66 inner fenders that is being checked for cancer or weak spots that might be blown through and then be rejected..
Just one other note none of this information has not been copied from anybody, all of my information has come from 40 + years of being hands on experience of Ford Trucks
Tom
Have been around trucks most of his life, @ age 10 already working on trucks especially the 61-66. Our family had a fleet of these trucks besides Macks for the dump trucks . as the years went by then started driving way before legal age., Then after legal age started driving concrete mixers, dumps at Allied Conrete in Rockaway, NJ, then semi's across the USA out of Burlington NC, Then in 1991 went to work in the salvage yard business in Greensboro 2 years, then on to one of our rivals for 6 years. Then in 1999 went on our own starting with just a small trailer and a few parts. One thing on are side was that when driving our semi , I made a lot of contacts out west that to this day we still use, some going on a 25 year business dealings. I still learn new things everday and especially on the late model Fords a whole lot you have to know .
Kathy
Kathy is seen here taking apart with just hand tools a 1962 Front Clip apart in Arizona while I am loading the trailer and we needed it broke down since space was getting tight on our trailer... We still do businees after 15 years with same business in Phoenix. And the most recent 06/20/2015 getting what is left of a F-100 going to the crusher
Was raised like a tom-boy always getting into grease and oil around dads tractors or old dump truck. Tom has shown me how to drive semi's, pull parts or what ever it takes to get the jobs done. When it's time to pull cabs while he is undoing front end I am up in the cab pulling seats, windshield doors. So many times will get a phone call and I can be up on the cowl pulling a windshield out. When out west helping load trucks /parts do expenses, calling for next motel also telling some of our western suppliers when to expect us next time. Also keeping a close eye on our rig. Back when we where running our semi we where a husband/wife team in which was unheard of in the late 70's to early 91, and boy the male truckers sure did not like it that a female was running there front door, Now days it common for woman drivers, But back the early days she had to take a lot of crap from male truck drivers... Even the local newspaper did a full story on us with most of the pictures of Kathy behind the wheel.
Anyway you ask yourself, what qualifies us maybe to be better than others? All we deal in is Ford Trucks, All we drive is Ford Trucks, and all we work on is Ford Trucks unlike others that might not have a clue what your asking for since they might not even drive a Ford Truck and can only go by whats in the book.
Of course not everbody has the luxury of having trucks on hand and do have to rely on books, so always ask plenty of questions when trying to locate parts....
